Our Wedding Invitation was a professionally printed single-page piece on die-cut card stock. We broke with tradition by highlighting the numeric elements of our wedding date and time (instead of the more traditional practice of spelling out these elements).

Included with this single piece were two inserts containing instructions to RSVP, registry information, and directions to the wedding, among other things.

We mailed the invitations eight weeks before the wedding date. While it is usually customary to mail inviations one month before the event, we mailed them slightly earlier due to expected post office delays caused by holiday mailings and the post-9/11 anthrax scares.
